Dear teacher and classmates
Hello everyone!
The topic of my speech today is "I Love My Motherland".
In the early morning, the five starred red flag rose slowly in the campus with the rising sun. I secretly asked myself, why do we have to solemnly salute under the flag, wearing neat school uniforms and bright red scarves. I asked the teacher with this question, and the teacher said that the five-star red flag is the national flag, it is a symbol of our country, and you are expressing your respect to our country.
"Teacher, who is our motherland?"
The teacher smiled and gently caressed my head, saying, "Our motherland is a mother, it is the mother of all of us."
"Mom? Isnt Mom the one who gave birth to us?" I asked inexplicably, "How could it be everyones mom?"
The teacher patted my little head and smiled, saying, "The earth is the mother of the grass, the trees, the rivers, the mountains, and all living things. Of course, it is also our mother."
"Oh, I understand now," I jumped up happily. "So our motherland is the earth, the vast land that gave birth to and nurtured us."
I love this land, I love my motherland, I want to sing with my tender voice, sing about this land, sing about my motherland. I want to sing about the magnificent and magnificent Great Wall, the magnificent waves of the Yangtze and Yellow Rivers, the 5000 year old Chinese civilization, and the hardworking and kind people who have lived on this land for generations with yellow skin and black eyes.
Thank you all, my speech is over.
