Atstandardtemperatureandpressure,theOccupationalExposureStandardforoilvapourisunlikelytobeexceeded.Careshouldbetakentokeepexposuresbelowapplicableoccupationalexposurelimits.Ifthiscannotbeachieved,useofarespiratorfittedwithanorganicvapourcartridgecombinedwithaparticulatepre-filtershouldbeconsidered.Halfmasks(EN149)orvalvedhalfmasks(EN405)incombinationwithtypeA2(EN141)andP2/3(EN143)pre-filtersmaybeconsidered.
HandProtection
Chemicalprotectiveglovesaremadefromawiderangeofmaterials,butthereisnosingleglovematerial(orcombinationofmaterials)whichgivesunlimitedresistancetoanyindividualorcombinationofsubstancesorpreparations.Theextentofthebreakthroughtimewillbeaffectedbyacombinationoffactorswhichincludepermeation,penetration,degradation,usepattern(fullimmersion,occasionalcontacts)andhowthegloveisstoredwhennotinuse.
