Since I was very small, my parents sent me to learn painting. They thought I could understand art and mastered one skill. This experience brings me the sense of art. I have my own understanding of it.

在我很小的时候，父母就送我去学习绘画，他们认为我能够所以掌握

On the one hand, art is an important way to express people's opinion. When we see the pictures, the difference between classical and ordinary paintings lies in the thoughts. The famous artists implant their ideas in the pictures, which are admitted by the public, so the value of arts can be seen. Some famous artists expressed their unique opinion and gives arts great meaning.

一方面，艺术是人们表达想法的重要方式。当我们看到这些画时，其

画中，这是公众所认可的，所以艺术的价值是能够看到的。一些的艺

术家表达了他们独特的观点，赋予了艺术很重要的意义。 On the other hand, art is not only from works, but also from life. For example, my mother cooks the delicious food. Everybody speaks highly of her. So her food brings people

great happiness, which makes the food an art for me. What's more, my friends is good at communicating. The way she talks

can convince other easily, so I call the way she communicates as an art.

另一方面，艺术不但来自作品，也来自生活。比如，我妈妈做的食物

很好吃，大家都对她赞不绝口，所以她的食物给人们带来了快乐，也

让我觉得食物对我来说是一门艺术。更重要的是，我的朋友善于沟通

交流。她的说话方式很容易说服别人，所以我把她的沟通方式叫做艺术。

In all, for me, art is around. It brings people a way to see the world or makes our life wonderful.

总之，对我来说，艺术是存有的，它能够给人们带来看待世界的另一

China has the largest population and India come after, but according to the prediction, India will pass China in the future and becomes the country with the largest population. Every country will do the census in the certain time, in the purpose of knowing the basic situation and making better

plans for the citizens.

中国是世界上人口最多的国家，印度紧随其后，但根据预测，印度未

来将会超越中国，成为人口最多的国家。每个国家都会在一定的时间

内实行人口普查，以便了解人口的基本情况，为公民制定更好的计划。

Take America for example. It does the census every ten years. As it has many immigrants, so the population changes greatly

in the last decade. The latest census showed that the white children became less and the Latin and Hispanic had the large birth rates, so it had been predicted that white children would become minority group in the future for America. As a result, the government has taken action to increase the local people to have children.

以美国为例。每十年做一次人口普查。因为移民很多，所以这里的人

口在过去的十年里发生了巨大的变化。最新的人口普查显示，白人儿

童越来越少，拉丁裔和西班牙裔人口出生率较高，所以有人预测，在

In China, thanks to the family plan, the large birth rate has been controlled and most people's life standard have been improved. Now the census predicts that China will face the aging time, so the government has changed the policy,

inspiring people to have second child. The meaning of World Population Day is to remind the public of the importance of knowing the changes of the population.

在中国，因为计划生育，人口出生率得到了控制，绝大部分人的生活

水平得到了提升。现在人口普查预测中国将面临老龄化时代，所以政

府改变了政策，鼓励人们生二胎。世界人口日的意义是提醒公众了解

人口变化的重要性。 【篇三】小暑 Lesser Heat

As China has the very long history, so the ancestors have figured out many ways to make record of the weather. With the regular marks, people can know the time and weather correctly. When summer comes, the hot weather begins with the time of Lesser Heat. So people know what they should prepare in the coming hot whether.

因为中国历史悠久，所以先辈们想了很多办法来记录天气。有了规律

的标记，人们就能准确了解时间和天气。当夏天到来时，热天气以小

暑开始。所以人们知道他们应该为即将到来的高温做点什么准备。 In my family's tradition, my mother will cook the Chinese watermelon soup for us. She believes that it can drive away

the heat in our body. One time, I doubted that function of this soup, then my mother told me that she didn't cook the soup one time and in that year, she got a fever. So she believed strongly that we should eat the Chinese watermelon soup, or we would get a fever easily.

按照我家的传统，我妈妈会为我们做冬瓜汤，她相信冬瓜汤能驱走我

们体内的热气。有一次，我怀疑这汤的作用，然后我妈妈就告诉我她

有一次没做这个汤，那一年，她发烧了。所以她坚信我们应该喝冬瓜汤，否则我们就会很容易发烧。

I admire the ancestors' wisdom. They found a way to record the time without high technology. The found of Lesser Heat helps people to get away from the hot weather and let people prepare some work for their crops. The tradition still works

no matter how fast the society develops.
