摘要:Aspects of the present disclosure include methods for optically aligningcomponents of a light collection system. Methods according to certain embodiments
include coupling a connector having a first lens to an optical adjustment componenthaving a second lens by connecting a first magnet and first aligner positioned on theconnector to a second magnet and second aligner positioned on the optical adjustmentcomponent such that connecting the first magnet and first aligner to the second magnetand second aligner is sufficient to position the connector lens to be optically concentricwith the optical adjustment component lens. Light collection systems optically aligned bythe subject methods including flow cell nozzles optically aligned with an opticaladjustment component are also described. Systems and methods for measuring lightemitted by a sample (e.g., in a flow stream) are also provided.
