摘要：The invention concerns a method for obtaining anhydrous or substantiallyanhydrous formic acid, whereby a compound of general formula (I) is usedsimultaneously as extracting agent for formic acid and as antifoaming agent for adistillation process during preparation, wherein radicals R?1 and R2¿ represent alkyl,cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl groups or R?1 and R2¿ together form with the N atom aheterocyclic five or six-membered ring and in which only one of the radicals is an arylgroup and in which R3 stands for hydrogen or a C1-C4-alkyl group.
