How are you? Upon your request, I’m writing to recommend a great Chinese storybook.The Journey to the West. It’s a Chinese novel published in the 16th century during the Ming dynasty and is thought to have been written by Wu Cheng’en. It’s one of the four great classical novels of Chinese literature. The novel is about the legendary adventures of the Tang dynasty Buddhist monk Xuanzang and his three followers who traveled to the “Western Regions”, that is, Central Asia and India, to obtain Buddhist sutras and returned after much suffering.
