Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind;

it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease.

This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20.

Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul.

Worry, fear, self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.

Whether 60 or 16, there is in every human being's heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing appetite for what's next and the joy of the game of living.

In the center of your heart and my heart, there is a wireless station; so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, courage and power from man and from the infinite, so long as you are young.

When your aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you've grown old, even at 20; but as long as your aerials are up, to catch waves of optimism, there's hope you may die young at 80. 青春年少并不是岁月，只是心情;

青春年少并不是桃面、丹唇、柔膝，只是低沉的信念、宏大的想像、炙热的情感;青春是什么性命的深泉在浪涌电压。

青春年少气贯长虹，勇锐盖过懦弱，进来碾过苟安，这般魄力， 二十又生有之，六旬小伙则大量见。

年年备至，并不是垂老;理想化丢掉，方堕风烛残年。 岁月幽幽，衰弱只及皮肤;热情抛开，颓丧必至生命。

烦恼、惶恐不安、缺失自信心，定使内心歪曲，壮气如灰。

不管年届花甲，亦或二八年方，心里皆有性命之快乐，惊喜之引诱，儿童般纯真久盛不衰。

每个人心里皆有一台无线天线，如果你从天上人间接纳幸福、期待、快乐、胆量和能量的数据信号，你也就青春常驻，精华长存。

一旦无线天线坍塌，魄力被风雪遮盖，放荡不羁、自甘堕落溢于言表，几十年方二十，实已垂老矣; 但是只需坚起无线天线，捕获开朗的数据信号，你也就有希望在八十大龄道别尘寰时仍感觉年青。
