sale是动词sell的名词形式,意为“降价销售;促销甩卖”。本单元中at great sale相当于on sale,表示“促销中”;另外,for sale表示“待售,供出售(指在主人手里)”。下面对这两个短语一一举例:

buy意为“买”,其反义词为sell,意为“卖”。常用搭配如下: buy sb. sth.=buy sth. for sb.给某人买某物 sell sb. sth.=sell sth to. sb.卖某物给某人 如:
